LobbyGuard Visitor Management System

Serious About Emergency Preparedness

LobbyGuard is used around the country by emergency response teams for managing visitor, volunteer and employee traffic in and out of emergency and disaster shelters.

Here are just a few of the benefits LobbyGuard brings to these shelters:

Volunteer Credentialing
One of the biggest concerns for EHR teams is the very difficult task of credentialing volunteers at a shelter. This normally involves using a large portion of the volunteer staff to handle the credentialing process. Using LobbyGuard, the volunteers are free to do more work for disaster victims while volunteers can sign in and out of the facility with the LobbyGuard touchscreen kiosk. All volunteers can sign in and indicate name, where they will be working in the shelter and other information. LobbyGuard will print a badge for each volunteer that will include all this information as well as a photograph of the volunteer.

Disaster Victim Sign-In/Sign-Out
Another major problem area is the signing in and out of the shelter by the disaster victims. Paper logbooks are often impossible to search and dont provide much in the way of shelter security. LobbyGuard provides an easy, fast and safe way for victims to sign in and out of the shelter, including capturing photograph, name, location, and driver license scan. LobbyGuard can print out visitor badges as needed and perform instant background checks against our sex offender database. In addition, LobbyGuards records are electronic and can be instantly searched if needed, providing relief for separated families who are looking for loved ones, to assist in locating missing persons, etc.

Employee Sign-In and Pre-Registration
Employees who will be staffing the shelter can be pre-registered, meaning they can have their names and roles pre-loaded into LobbyGuard and thus making their sign-in process much faster, freeing the kiosk for use by others.
Instant Background Checks
Can instantly check all visitors against sex offender registry and your own database of unwanted guests. If a match is made, notification can be sent to appropriate personnel.

When connected directly to the internet, LobbyGuard can instantly move all data from one shelter to a central database hosting the records for multiple shelters. This provides instant data retrieval, reporting and search capabilities across a shelter network.

But what about shelters that don't have internet access, or even access to a phone line? In these scenarios, LobbyGuard can work off-line, meaning all data is captured to a local database on the kiosk itself. This data can be migrated to a larger central database by connecting the kiosk to the internet at a later time, or by copying the database to another PC that does have internet access.

If internet connectivity is a necessity, LobbyGuard can recommend a host of solutions that have been tested with the product, ranging from broadband wireless access to satellite internet uplink that will keep your kiosk online at all times.

No matter what the scenario, LobbyGuard is designed to work to meet your needs.
